Recently, the FDA has cracked down and closed down companies that are marketing and selling homeopathic and other nonprescription illegal products claiming to be HCG to the public for weight loss use. Real HCG is available only by prescription, by a licensed physician, proficient in its use. The Metabolic Weightloss Clinic follows all FDA guidelines and the Ohio and Michigan Pharmacy board regulations for the use of HCG. The Metabolic Weightloss Clinic, under the direction of Dr. John Ross, board certified, uses only prescription HCG within the strict guidelines of a fully developed 3 step program. This is why it is important to participate in an experienced and professional HCG program for weight loss.

MWLC also provides medical supervision for those who are on various prescription medications to safely and quickly lose weight. Dr. Ross, A Board Certified Physician, has been practicing 27 years and has used HCG successfully.

Q: How much weight can I expect to lose?

If you are doing HCG injections your weight loss will be slightly higher than those who are taking the sublingual form. Generally, 1/2 lbs to 1 lbs a day for women and men can lose 1/2 lbs – 3 lbs a day due to their larger percentage of muscle mass.

Q: Will the weight come back after I’m finished with the HCG DIET?

You must follow the protocol as prescribed and attain your goal weight. Once finished you must follow through with the post diet maintenance phase and remain strict for those first three weeks, then the answer is NO. You will enjoy a healthier lifestyle, more energy, smaller appetite and a more active well being.

Q: Will HCG help my blood pressure?

Most patients experience a decrease in blood pressure with a loss of weight. Many patients are able to discontinue their medications totally.

Q: Will I be able to stop using my diabetic medications after the program is completed?

While some clients may be able to stop their medications, others may not, but certainly may be able to decrease their amounts of diabetic medications needed. The least amount of medication you need to be on the better overall health you will have. Blood sugars will stabilize and fasting sugars will drop.

Q: Does weight-loss slow down after the first month?

Usually we see a large weight loss the first month, and then a plateau or slowing down as your body is nearing its goal weight. When this occurs, it does not mean weight loss has stopped. We most always see inches continuously being lost and then loss of weight follows.

Q: Will I be hungry??

HCG causes the release of fat stores to your body for energy so you don’t feel hungry because it’s like you are consuming 2000 calories daily. This is why you can be on this 500 calorie daily diet as in reality, your body feels as if its on a 2500 calorie daily diet. It is extremely healthy.

Q: What sweetener can I use on the program?

STEVIA is the only approved sweetener. Please be sure to check the labels on Stevia products. Some included added hidden sugars such as dextrose.  Be sure it is made of 100% Stevia Extract.

Q: How does HCG affect cholesterol levels?

Cholesterol levels will fluctuate while on the HCG program. For most patients the cholesterol levels drop and improve.

Q: Is Exercise necessary to lose weight?

No, it is recommended to walk about 20 min/day. You will not be losing muscle mass just fat! If you over exercise you will become hungry and slow your weight loss. Your caloric intake is not high enough for this. When you get off the diet you will want to return to the gym or some form of exercise, yoga…. to tone and maintain your health.

Q: Is it necessary to gorge the first two days of the diet and why?

Because it takes two days for HCG to fully enter your system and begin circulating your abnormal fat stores, filling your fat reserves by gorging helps to prevent hunger during the first three days of the protocol

Q: What foods are recommended during the two days of loading?

Whole milk, dairy products, pastries, nuts, oils, avocados, salmon, and other high fat high protein foods

Q: What is the hypothalamus?

The hypothalamus gland moderates the thyroid, adrenals, fat storage, and more importantly, your metabolic rate.

Q: How painful are HCG and MIC B12 injections for weight loss?

The HCG daily injections for weight loss are administered using a very fine, small insulin needle and is relatively painless. The MIC B12 weeky injection is administered intramuscularly and with correct technique demonstration provided by a nurse, is also relatively painless.

Q: Is there a difference in weight loss with oral HCG verses HCG injections?

The injections produce the best results. For those who cannot do the injections or are squeamish, the oral RELEANA is a good second choice. The weight loss is a little slower, but results are still incredible.

Q. What is the difference between the homeopathic oral HCG and what we prescribe?

There are a lot of imitations claiming to be HCG but most are mixtures that are diluted with alcohol in which is not part of the protocol and does not contain the full potency, purity or proper source of HCG. SO BEWARE of imitators with false claims.
